Dan Edwards – Centre Back / Defender – Boys Brigade Old Boys

Experienced player in the Brighton & Hove league, having previously played at County level with Mile Oak FC.

Currently enjoying his third second season with BBOB, last year picking up both the “Players Player” and “Managers Player” awards.

A good reader of the game, strong tackler and confident passer of the ball.

 

Casey Barker – Defensive Midfield – South Coast City

Promising young player in his first season in adult football.

Strong in a tackle and good passer of the ball, definitely one for the future

Coaches and manages a youth side in Brighton on Sundays

 

Nathan Challis – Defensive Midfield - South Coast City

Young player who is in his second season with South Coast City

Never stops running and is great in a tackle and good in the air.

Nathan also pops up from defensive midfield to score some important goals in the past 2 seasons

Member of the treble winning South Coast side last season.

 

Lewis Whitehouse – Right Wing - South Coast City

Youngest player in the Representative squad.

Strong player for his age and skilful with pace and strength.

First season in adult football and is looking to be a very good player in the making.

 

Marcus Gilmartin – Right Back - South Coast City

A team player who gets up and back when he needs to.

Excellent dead ball specialist and can deliver a cross inch perfect.

In his 3rd season with South Coast and was a member of their treble winning side last season

 

Jack Langford – Left Wing - South Coast City

Jack is probably the fastest player over 10-100 metres in the whole of the league.

Electrifying pace, skilful and strong.

First season in adult football and first season back after breaking his leg when playing for Reading Youth.

Jack will only continue to improve and one to watch next season

 

Ryan Warwick – Midfield - South Coast City

Ryan is a quality midfielder and in his second season with South Coast City. Great on the ball and is a creative influence in midfield, hardworking and tenacious and has scored some great goals this season.

 

Steve Catt – Centre back – Ovingdean FC

Big, strong centre back, in the Vincent Kompany mould. Well at least his hair style is. Reads the game well. Good in the air and on the ground. Captain of Ovingdean F.C.

 

Chris Macauley – Striker – Ovingdean FC

Despite missing 2 months of the season following a shoulder operation, Chris has again been top scorer for Ovingdean F.C. averaging more than a goal a game.

 

Pat Steele – Midfield – Brighton Electricity

Captain of the Electricity team and University of Brighton, Pat has enjoyed his best season at the heat of midfield, leading Electricity to the College Cup Final.

 

Shane Brown – Midfield – Brighton Electricity

A more mature second year with Electricity has seen him excel in the centre of midfield, chipping in with regular assists and the odd goal.

 

 

Stephen Balogun – Striker – Brighton Electricity

Electricity's Top scorer for the second season running despite a slow start, since the new year he has been on a great run of goals for club and University including 6 in one game.

 

Paul Inkpen – Centre Back – Brighton Electricity

A match winner at the heart of the Electricity and Brighton Uni defence in his debut season. One to watch for the future at a higher level.

 

Tabi Maloi – Defender – The Ark

Left footed player has many skills and will work all game has a great attitude and just loves playing football.

 

Lloyd Eyre – Midfield – The Ark

First full season back playing after a spell working abroad. Lloyd looks forward to every game and gives 100%

 

James Jupp – Goalkeeper – The Ark

Goalkeeper, Very solid and just gets better all the time and does his job very well.

 

Jack McDowell – Striker – The Ark

Always got a smile on his face when he plays, links up the play very well 

 

Josh Hardy – Defender – The Ark

Plays in defence and just make it all look so easy.

 

Harry Eyre – Defender/Midfield – The Ark

Lloyds younger brother, has a great left foot and can play in most position its first season the brothers have played together

 

Mike Spence – Defender – CCK

A robust but skilful defender, Mike has shown his invaluable worth to the team over the years with a range of heroics - from last ditched tackles to match winning goals.  A leader on the field, he picked up CCK FC's player of the season last year to add to his trophy cabinet of team and individual honours.

 

Tony Woods – Manager - South Coast City

Played at a good level in his younger days and has managed successful teams in Brighton for the past 8 years.

 

In his second season with South Coast City who were a new side last season and did the treble last season missing out on the quadruple by a single goal.

 

A great motivator of players to get the best out of them and a Sam Allardyce look alike but hates the long ball. Tony runs a successful Sunday side as well and loves the pass and move football.

Tony is also a member of the BHDFL Committee.
